Daniel Campbell Biography

Daniel was born in Glasgow in 1951, and studied at both the Glasgow School of Art and the Glasgow College of Building and Printing. After graduating, he worked as an artist and lithographer in the printing industry.

In 1995, he became a full-time artist, setting up a studio at home, where he continues to paint full-time to this day. His work has proved tremendously popular and is now taken to print by several companies. His original work is now highly sought after, and can be found in many private and corporate collections within Scotland, UK and further afield.

Daniel's paintings cover a range of subjects and vary from bright colourful landscapes and seascapes to stylised florals and figurative pieces. In particular his pallet knife work is of outstanding quality.

His home studio is a wonderful place with an atmosphere of creative drive and passion for colour in evidence all around.

Daniel is also a collector and his walls at home are covered with art from artists he admires and draws inspiration from.
